Man.. I can't wait for my 5 day weekend!! Because I'm tired already. I've been doing okay with this, but sometimes Jason's a little wired before we go to sleep, and I need to be asleep by 9:30 no later than 10. He'll want to talk, or he'll shift around a lot, and it's like "I GOTTA SLEEP SUCKA." Unfortunately, one of my major gripes with him is no matter how much I emphasize that I have to wake up at 4:30 to be at work by 5:30 to work until 4:30, he doesn't seem to get it. Maybe because by the time the afternoon hits, I'm not tired anymore, and I'm not dead when I get home, but by 9:30 I've already been awake for 17 hours, compared to his ten, I'm not exactly up for a late night chat. Not to mention no matter what how many hours I've worked that day, or what I've done, it never seems to amount to work to him. He can no longer say, "You don't do any real work, all you do is play around on the internet." I can only be on these wee hours of the morning and lunch, there's not much free time to sit around here. Regardless, he seems to think that even though I wake up early, work 10 hours, I can still cook dinner and run all these stupid errands, because I get off at 4:30, and I'm supposed to apparently. I swear I hate all that female domesticated bullshit. If I don't feel like cooking dinner, I'm not cooking dinner. You come home and what do you do? You sit around and relax, I don't have the right to do the same? I understand that his mom stayed at home, had dinner on the table, but I'm not his mom. I'm going to work until I have to stop, and I'm won't commit to making dinner every night until I have children to feed. GET USED TO IT.
On a lighter note, I saw The Family Stone on Sunday, and The Chronicles of Narnia a while ago. I liked them both. I don't have much to say about Narnia, I was a fan of the books, and it basically fulfilled my expectations. I was a little too preoccupied with the fact that Memoirs of a Geisha was not released that weekend like I thought it would be, no matter, we're seeing it this Friday. The Family Stone was pretty good, though it got a little weird at the end. It's seems to be another movie following the trend of mainstream subtle comedies, except for the bit of sadness thrown in for good measure. I had no desire to see King Kong, and according to the news, neither did a lot of people. Somebody in a community said that maybe it was a backlash against furries lol.
I finally saw all of Harry Potter 3. So now I'm caught up with the movies, I wanna see 4 again sometime. We were supposed this past weekend, but Danni and Mom ditched me, so I ended up dragging Danni Sunday evening to see the Family Stone. Mom brought over the first 3 books, and I'll probably star reading the first one once I'm done with my manga.
Speaking of manga, I bought quite a bit these past 2 weeks, and still have 5 on hold. I bought the first 3 of Wallflower, which is very funny, but very weird. At first I was a little eh? but it grew on me. I put the first 2 of Imadoki on hold because they've only had 3 FOREVER, so I snatched them up. I got 12 of fruits basket (yay!) and Danni picked up this INVU, that I haven't read yet. I also put Dramacon on hold, which is by a Russian chic from Canada (?_?) that looked pretty good. I'm willing to try American made manga. I'm a little disappointed though because Jen Quick has a new manga with Tokyopop, but it's Shonen Ai. Not your typical glamourous Gravitation stuff either, it's like 2 young kids from New York, who are "curious". It just seems a little odd, like the shonen ai version of The Blue Lagoon. Maybe if they were adults I wouldn't mind. I like Jen Quick's stuff and I have for awhile. Omeca bought me a commisioned pic of hers like 5 years ago! but I lost it. Or did she buy it for herself and lose it? I don't remember. Her fantasy series was pretty cool though, I never got to read all of it though.
I also bought L'Arc~en~Ciel's new album from suncoast awhile ago. It's so good. They have a really good English song on there. Not Engrish either! It has kick ass music too. I hope they come back here for another concert. >_<
Well I should probably get to work now.
