Really Sick of the Disrespect.
So I'm happily perusing my facebook page when I read a post from my Mom's oldest friends.
"Why can't customer service people provide customer service?"
A friend of her's replies, "because most of them can barely speak."
I just couldn't leave it alone. This kind of attitude is just so prevalent and so disrespectful. The economy is shit. Good jobs don't exist and people still need to eat, pay their bills and clothe their children. I know that in this day and age service jobs are the equivalent of the "help". Meek, invisible and marginalized. It is so infuriating that being stupid is equated with working in a lower income job. 95% of my coworkers all have college degrees many of them have more than one. GRRR!
Was I out of line to say something, or is this just me being a meek servant that part of me feels bad for poking the beehive?
