1. Bolus enters stomach through gastro-esophageal spinchter
2. Bolus presses against stomach wall which distends
3. Stretch receptors are stimulated and action potential is formed
4. Nerve impulses are conducted to plexi in myenteric and submucosal
5. Plexi sends impulses to exocrine glands
6. Gastric juice secretion in fundic region increases; gastric motilities increases
7. Fatty chyme stimulates G cells in wall of pyloric region to secrete gastrin hormone
8. Gastrin hormone increases secretion of gastric juice and motilities
9. When fatty chymes enter duodenum, it stimulates secretin, pancreozymin and cholecystokinin hormones secretion by duodenum; which inhibit secretion of gastrin hormones
10. Decreases in gastric juice decreases gastric digestion
