Fun Day
Today has been a great day. I woke up early, did a few things around the house, went for a nice run and then I spent a great afternoon with my best friend Thay_Space .
It has been awhile since we have just took an afternoon to hang out, have lunch, chat, go shopping, etc. We spent most of the afternoon just shopping, and looking for some dress shirts, shoes, and pants for his new job. Of course, I didn't plan on buying anything, but the deals were so incredible that I just had to pick up a few button-down shirts. So, we took out a few racks of clothes and went on our merry way. In all actuality we didn't spend all that much when you take in account how many shirts were able to pick up. I just love 75% off sales. They are like my best friend. Sorry Thay.... I know the feeling is mutual, since you can relate to how much I just love a great sale.
After shopping for awhile, we finally took a break and had a quick snack. A guacamole appetizer is just the perfect snack after shopping. Later on we stopped in at Starbucks to have a little coffee and chai tea. This gave us some time to just sit back, relax, and catch up on what has been going on in each others lives. We used to do this all the time when we were roommates. There is nothing like grabbing a cup of coffee and just chatting with a good friend. It's nice knowing you can just relax and share anything you want, and it just stays between the two of you. Thanks Thay!!!
Well after Starbucks, he headed of to his hubbies, to make Beef Stroganoff and I came home to do a few things for work, before tomorrow. I figured I might as well get a head start on the week, since I am going out of town Wednesday night.
Thay_Space and I are heading to Vegas. WOO HOO!!! It is going to be so much fun.
Two friends of ours, Frank and Mar (short for Marilyn) are getting married.
