(no subject)
I am not a talented invidual. At least not when it comes to my fugly face. I bought liquid eyeliner upon the recommendation of the very cosmetically talented Jocelyn Rosnick. Well actually I bought two types to see which would be easier for me to use: Ultra-Liner waterproof by Maybelline and then just regular waterproof eyeliner with more of a felt tip (also by Maybelline). I suck at both, although i find Ultra-Liner just slightly better. I guess I just have no slight of hand. Another problem is the length of my eyelashes. They're too goddamn long. Normally this would be a good thing. However, this makes applying mascera a nightmare because the tips tend to rub up onto my eyeshadow when I'm applying it. I've tried going more out with it in my motions, but that makes it harder to get it on as well. Speaking of eyeshadow, I suck at making that pretty too. Blah. Screw it all. I'm just going to stick with the bare-faced hippy look and hope that comes into vogue or something.
On a brighter note, I'm superduper really excited for Watchmen coming out 3/6.09. The new trailer is amazing: http://cad-comic.com/news.php?i=1787#1789 It even has one of my favorite Muse songs, "Take a Bow," in the second half of it. I'm a sucker for really cool trailers. I want to do a Silk Spectre II costume at some point based on the movie version, but it seems kinda pricey to do, but if I could pull it off, it'd be really neat. Here's the stuff I found for it:
