(no subject)
wow, i havent updated in foreeever...but thats because ive been in cape cod for the past 2 weeks..we stayed in brewster and rented a cottage right near the beach...it was a lot of fun! we saw hyannis sound one night, went to the beach almost everyday, we got together with the steiners, and lots of other things...i completely embarrassed myself at the beach lol...i was in the water and then i let out this really loud scream and everyone started staring at me...and i was like "uhh oh sorry i thought i saw a shark but it was just seaweed" it was funny, but im pretty sure my face was bright red...i still dont get how a shark and seaweed have any resemblance lol...during our stay at the cape erin and i had the peer ministry board retreat! it was awesome! its probably my favorite thing ive done this summer! also during the 2 weeks in cape cod we had our swim banquet, so we came back for that...i hung out with allison and elise for most of the night, and of course our little friends lol...it was me, elise's, and katies last year on the team, so it was our last swim banquet...eric and dave (our swim coaches) gave us really pretty flowers and a card to thank us for helping out with the little kids/team which was nice...when i got back from cape cod tina slept over! then sunday i didnt really do much...i went to church and then i hung out with lauren for awhile...monday i had a doctor's appointment and i found out i have shingles? im like whaaat? lol the doctor said that it's usualyly people in their 50's and 60's that get them...its really painful and it's itchy! i just want them to go away =( i thought it was poison ivy at first cuz it was itchy, but then it felt like it was bruised all around that area so it didnt really make sense to be poison ivy...since i have shingles the doctor says i cant swim at all this week and its our first week of feehan swim team! grrrr the coach understood though...speaking of coaches, we got 3 new coaches for feehan...im pretty sure im going to be with kyle, and his practices are reeeeeally hard i guess =/ oh well, it will get me in better shape! lol yesterday i didnt do anything at ALL...i was sooo bored...today i had another doctor's appointment and i hurt my ribs somehow so now i have to "rest" and take it easy! im so annoyed! in just a few minutes im leaving to go to the freshman picnic...i get to hang out with my freshman friend! lol hopefully it will be fun...then tina and nicole are coming over and sleeping over...alright, well ill update soon
