Newport Music

I went to one of the Newport music festival shows today. It was wonderful! All the performers were amazing. I was very intrigued by the 25 year old Romanian violin player, Eugen Tichindeleanu. His facial expressions and just the way he handled his instrument told you that the music was a part of him. It was so beautiful. He played in a quartet with Eric Kean (viola), Henri Demarquette (cello) and Alain Jacquon (piano). When I was watching the quartet it was almost as if my brain had left my head and all I could do was watch the musicians and hear the music. I was so into it. It was kinda funny because I was the only teenager in the audiance. But I didn't feel out of place at all.
