Thrill The World 2009

This year’s Thrill The World will be taking place on:
Sunday, October 25th 2009, 12:30 am UTC/GMT (midnight of what we consider to be Saturday but is technically Sunday) _which will be Saturday, October 24th for some parts of the world.

I know some of you already know about Thrill The World but I thought I’d make a post to help spread the word! Thrill The World is an annual worldwide simultaneous dance of “Thriller!” Last year set several world records with a total of 4,179 people dancing in 72 cities around the world.



I’m making this post because this is my way of honoring Michael. I grew up with “Thriller.” I danced to it with my friends in my front yard (and my back yard, and at school, and pretty much anywhere), I sang it when it came on the radio, and watching the video was practically required viewing every Halloween. I can’t cry about Michael’s death anymore. I’m ready to celebrate what a wonderful person Michael was and how much he meant to me through dance.

Okay, that last sentence was hokey, but it’s true. Besides, there are zombies!
