Trip that includes overnight stopover in Chicago may mean a family museum is back in hometown’s plans

AWWW, it's nice to hear that he took the childrens to view/meet the place where he grew up. he obviously never forgot his roots.

Michael had been working on SOME sort of thing in Gary for the last four or five years. He was looking into opening some performing arts center or a Jackson family museum or something of the sort.

And downtown Gary along Broadway needs major help and rehabbing. BAD. About six or seven years ago, there was a sniper out on the loose and randomly shooting people from Broadway to 80/94 (near I65). It was a scary time for me to be commuting to IUN.

And Katherine still makes occasional trips to Gary. My BF met her at the Hobart WalMart about three years ago.
