I realize she often runs her mouth too much (& let's be real, there are definitely other members of the Jackson fam who are guilty of mouth-running as well, haha), but for the most part any negativity she displayed towards Michael in the past was her abusive husband's doing.
What is calling her La Toilet going to gain at this point?
As Michael Jackson fans we can't uphold the notion of doing your research and getting all the facts before judging a person and then just not even try to do it ourselves in this case. We, of all people, know the importance of being objective, right? Just saying. :/ Shamone now!
I mean, let's not forget that other siblings have spoken out against Michael and perpetuated some lies without death threats from an insane husband/manager hanging over their head. Word To the Badd, anyone? I don't see anyone hating on Jermaine the way they hate on La Toya, you know?
& please don't misunderstand me. I'm not telling anyone that they can't have a negative opinion of La Toya or that anyone has to like her merely because she's a Jackson. That would be totally ridiculous. Differing opinions is what makes a community like this so great because it leads to stimulating discussion. I'm a firm believer of being entitled to one's own opinions, whether they are negative or positive.
& while I agree that some of the stuff homegirl does/has done is pretty lol-worthy...I still don't think Michael would be too excited about fans making fun of a sibling for no good reason.
I really don't want to come off as preachy...it's just something to think about.
Okay enough of all that, really this is just an excuse for a Michael & La Toya picspam! :D
^LOL @ Michael's expression. Chuck & La Toya seem oblivious to the fact that his arm is all caught up in the middle of their love fest.
^Look at homegirl's baby hairs. Toy Toy don't play.
LOL. SORRY JAMES. I HAD TO CROP A BROTHA OUT.
& here's a tidbit of MJ-related news on the La Toya front:
After 7 years following its original recording, La Toya's song 'Home' will be released as a single. It's not some musical masterpiece or anything, but it does take on a bit of a poignant mood in the wake of Michael's passing... 'Joker' in the lyrics refers to Michael. The music video for 'Home' - La Toya's first in 20 years - will be available for purchase on iTunes beginning September 1 & will apparently act as La Toya's tribute to Michael. All proceeds from iTunes purchases of the song will go to the charity AIDS Project Los Angeles.
& a few goodies for those of you who actually read through this whole post! Thanks for taking the time to do so. :D
