Someone in a post a while back was looking for the quote from Michael where he talked about how people automatically believe things about him that are said in the press, but if he were to say them, people would think he was nuts. I finally found the quote:
"In fact, why not just tell people I'm an alien from Mars? Tell them I eat live chickens and that I do a voodoo dance at midnight. They'll believe anything you say because you're a reporter. But if I, Michael Jackson, were to say 'I'm an alien from Mars and eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance every night at midnight,' people would say 'Oh man, that Michael Jackson is nuts. He's cracked up. You can't believe a damn word that comes out of his mouth."
That was from the 2003 updated version of "Magic and the Madness" by J. Randy Tarraborelli.
