(no subject)
So , workin the job and all is well there. I have consumers I can handle, a boss that is straightforward and coworkers that I mostly don't hate. It looks like I will be taking vacation in April, allowing me to attend AdAstra convention in Toronto as well as EerieCon in Niagara Falls. Because this is a state job and everything is by seniority, my next vacation will be the end of May begining of June. This will allow me to attend ConQuesT and then take the Eldest Munchkin on a vacation with Lana. Whew! Now I just need to work some overtime to pay for all of that.
It's been six months since "the incident", and I suppose things are
mostly normal. The Youngest Munchkin says she has worked through things in therapy and no longer has nightmares. Eldest claims not to have been too effected by it, which I don't believe but can't force her to talk. She's always been closed mouthed anyway. As for me... Well I'm working on severing the last of my ties with A. I'm still driving the car we bought together, but it has been a constant reminder, having to tell the border people who the car belongs to twice a week when I drive to Toronto. I'm thinking and planning now how I can get a car of my own by the end of March.
Not dating, and perfectly content that way. It just doesn't seem worth it.
