deja vu.
Catching myself up to speed...
Ethan has begun working @ Babe's. Jason's Deli went from giving full time ppl 40+ hrs/wk to 10 hrs/wk due to minimum wage going up and being over staffed. Boo on the lack of communication and their insistence that they Ethan should work around their wants (when they were scheduling no one) rather than accommodate a second job. Ethan's car is still dead and we hope to sell it soon. I am still employed at Starbucks as a part-time shift supervisor. The FFC position went permanent! :)
I think those are the highlights.
Sbux and FFC insurance is comparable so I am not losing anything by going w/the primary job's provider. I haven't heavily pursued JSarg to begin the edu route, but I will get there.
Life continues to be tight monetarily. But it can always be worse. Praise be for my jobs and support system.
I am going out more (no, really!). I have pretty much fallen of the gym wagon. 2 days ago I was able to do a 7 min mi on the elliptical, so I haven't completely lost it all. I have done more family visiting. Money, time and ability continue to be barriers. Overall, I am pleased w/the progress, even though I am hard on myself.
Some days I feel like I am in a rat race of my own w/FFC, sbux, VAVP, and all of my other obligations. I half wish I better managed my time so I could do more w/my friends, family, find a church home, start school, etc... But most days when I get home I am just pooped. Sad, eh?
Cody sleeps on our couch 2-3x/wk while he works out a place to stay w/his cousin, or some other option. It's nice to get interaction w/ppl other than co-workers, customers, clients, Ethan, and Hermes. Not that I see the last two all that much either... :(
But yeah. That's all for now.
