Inspired by Wordsworth's famous "I wandered lonely as a cow," and "a six years' Darling of a pig my size," my students decided they would come up with "first editions" for the Romantic poets--versions of the poems that upon reflection (in tranquility, of course) went somewhere else. My favorite thus far?
"The Rheum of the Ancient Mariner."
