Conference Paper? What Conference Paper?
The important thing is, my grades were done on time and I've found a spiffy new conference outfit. I will be so chic that nobody will notice the astounding superficial qualities of my paper.
But hey--it will be superficial things that nobody has ever said about Centlivre before. And have I mentioned the cute new outfit?
EDIT: By popular demand, outfit description. Long black skirt (almost ankle-length) with BUGLE PLEATS, and lots of 'em. Bugle pleats are back in--this makes me almost forgive the fashion industry for culottes, because I look damn good in bugle pleats. (I am a 40s throwback--what can I say?) Button-down blouse, of which the top...third? I guess? is white w/ black polka-dots, and the rest is a plain black panel, but with tailored waist. Long sleeves not quite wrist-length, with big ol' cuffs and a dressy button.
Ta-dah! I'm entertaining myself, because retail therapy doesn't usually make me quite this giddy.
