First Word!... sortof
Alex's "official" first word is Oot. Yes, I know this is not a real word. But, I am counting it because he 1) uses it consistently and 2) uses it in a specific way. Most people think he means Food or something, but no. He actually uses his "word" as a way to express excitement. When I first get him from his crib after a nap or when we are going out to run errands (which he loves to do) he always says "Oot!" And when we say it back to him he gets the biggest grin. I have been more concientious about naming things for him, and hopefully he can get his second word soon.
ETA: Alex has also cut one of his top teeth and is in the process of getting in the other one plus another bottom. So he will have 5 teeth soon!
