Strolling
Oh bless 'em. I was cruising around Roches Stores earlier. Roches is a store I really hate since they did renovations. I just popped in since I recently learned that the store is in financial dire straits and was selling stuff off at frantically reduced prices. I thought, "ha! Maybe I can get a deal on some baby paraphernalia". Being a vulture is such a blast. Sadly none of the stuff I looked at was frantically reduced.
By the way. Buying a stroller is more difficult than buying a car. Seriously. Walk into any stroller store and prepare to be bamboozled.
So in badly-renovated Roches, I see a smart looking three-wheeled stroller. One of those all-terrain jogging stroller. Now some three-wheelers look like joggers but really aren't up to actual jogging. I asked the shop assistant if this stroller would be suitable for jogging. "Well the three-wheelers were originally made for that but sure you wouldn't have to...you could just use it for walking"
I quickly sensed her attitude, it was "who the HELL would go jogging - I mean like ever?". The fact that she said I could also walk the stroller was pretty funny. Glad she explained that. I thought I had to maintain a certain speed while pushing a jogging stroller you know ala Sandra Bullock and a certain Santa Monica bus.
SO I didn't buy but I really enjoyed my encounter with the jog-hating shop assistant.
