Why the fuck do I have to be looking for a job in the middle of a tanking stock market? If I was a company, I wouldn't feel like hiring anyone right now.
The job search sucks. I had a phone interview yesterday conducted by a woman who went to the I-aim-to-make-you-uncomfortable school of interviewing. It was filled with questions like, "Where do you see yourself in five years," and "What are your strengths in regard to this position?" I fumbled through the whole thing. But the job would be cool because it's virtual company, so I would be working from home. But their health plan sucks. So there you go.
I bit it and called Accountemps yesterday. I have an interview today at 10. At least they can place me somewhere, and I'll have money coming in. And they provide you health insurance while you're temping.
