here I go again on my own
Today was the first day of orientation for law school. Not only did I have to have my ID picture taken while about 20 people were watching - but I also blew almost $750 on books. A lot of books. Preciseley 13 rather huge books which I had to sherpa home on my poor little back. What fun. I just completed my first homework assignment for law school too. I briefed two cases - and hopefully I am on the right track because from what I hear briefing cases is going to be my life for the next nine months or so. I also got my schedule. At first I was glad to not have any say - but once I found out I have an 8:45 am class on Wednesdays, which also happen to be my longest day I am rethinking this whole pre-assigned classes. I guess Wednesdays will just have to be my stop-at-starbucks-while-dragging-my-ass-to-class-day. All in all though I am excited. I am excited to get back into some kind of schedule, as grueling as it might be -but I am ready to start this next 3 year experience.
