You can re-focus and sit back down as you handle the small shock of seeing me post to live journal.
( breathe, sit, have a cool drink....)
The Universe loves to play with all of us. It seems it has a particular interest in the season of Autumn and early winter for me. This is when every major series of changes in my life have occured, past and present.
I'm not panicking at all, really.
Lets see what is occuring as we speak and what has been unfoloding to manifest in Sept/October:
Seer-Eridanus has begun a fantabulous idea and call for a pagan intentional living community.
I am becomming the interim- night supervisor at my current job possibly as early as August.This includes an offer to apply for Permanent FT NIght Supervisor.
Stones Rising is almost here and is always a spiritual intensive.
I am starting a private student for weekly pay in Mid August.
I have a weekend in Sept and October confirmed to teach drum workshops in VA and NC.
I may be starting to teach a DC High school after school drumming program in Sept or Oct.
I am in the process of coordinating a new group of students in Northern VA, potentially 2 regularly occuring drum cirlces or group lesson circles on top of the one just mentioned in the DC/no-VA, MD area for September/October start.
I am trying to create content and launch my first professional website NOW.
I have a ball and a conference to pull off at the end of August NOW
I am trying to transition to and find part time day work or temp work by the late fall to facilitate all this drum teaching, drum circling, and active regular practice and presence in KIVA, hoping to combine both incomes and make the rent.
My dear housemate Angela is moving out by October to live with , by that time, her new husband Michael, yay for them both! This means a new roomate search begins now and/ or dealing with various possibilites that it entails.
I am turning 40 in October and celebrating my 2 year anniverary with Snugglesofdoom!!!!
I have a wonderful and challenging dog that lives with NJ in Baltimore that requires attention, love, and time just like everyone and everything else :-).
I am out of breath and my fingers hurt. I have more to add and just can't.
I have come to believe, after so many major transitions and lessons, that the Universe deals out energy, and even chaos, to you because you are strong enough to handle it, whether you personally belive you can or not.
So, here I go into a 3-month hurricane once more.
May the source and all the dieties bless my endeavors and those of all my friends and family, whether actively a part of these events or in witness to the winds of change while entrenched in their own hurricanes.
Yes,now you see why I am taking this weekend off to breathe, prepare and chat/play with gamer friends.
I will not have this kind of downtime again for a very long period of time.
