I've been reading a lot about Dean, his wanting normal and the white picket fence.
Sorry, Dean has never wanted normal. He's wanted, and fought for, peace and family. Normal was SAM'S dream. Never Dean's. Somehow, that's been forgotten. And that's why I'm annoyed with Sam extracting that promise from Dean. Because Dean will give it his all, just as he always does, and he will be miserable.
