[Open to everyone!]
Turn the right way down any street, glance down an unexpected alley, maybe you'll see it out of the corner of your eye. Maybe you'll catch a hint of the music drifting out of the invitingly open wooden doors. There's always something. It wants to be found, this in, this bar, this club, this pub, this restaurant. It has many

He isn't here to catch up and be cheery and marry, although he certainly is those things on most occasions.
He's here for one reason and one reason only: his Anya love.
Toad promised her a fun Christmas holiday season, which he was spending tucked away with her, but getting out and about was fun too!
And so he had heard about the party at World's End, one of his favourite places to party because all the goody-goodies were restricted from kicking his ass!
Anya and he would have to save their own games for later, obviously.
One other reason to come here? The open bar. Oh yes.
"My good man!" he called out cheerily to the Doombot behind the counter. "Drinks for me and my fair lady. I'll take a pint of Guinness... make it two!"
He turned to his very stunning and visually stunning girlfriend. "And for you, my dearest Anya luv?"

Plus there was the PDA. Because who didn't love THAT? In front of a mirror in the bathroom.
As it was, Anya had no vengeance gigs here although she was sure that if she really looked closely they were all idiots deserving of her intelligent and yet oh so witty wrath.
She wore a shiny lilac halter top dress that dipped low down her back to bare the line of her spine. The hem fell neatly just above her knees. And of course she had on matching heels because they made her legs look pretty.
"Martini please!" Because what other drink was there? "Because where there's a martini there's an overtly happy vengeance demon." Yes, happy vengeance demons do exist thankyouverymuch.

He held up his beer glass. "To us!" he says to her. "But mostly you, because you look stunning." He eyed here up and down appreciatively. "Positively edible."
Reply
"To us, the most attractive people in the universes." She nodded enthusiastically and lifted her glass before sipping at the martini.
Oh what the hell.
She drank half of the martini down and squeezed her eyes tightly closed as it went down her throat. "Perfection. A demon had to invent this nectar of the gods."

He slides up closer to her and throws an arm around her shoulders. "So, my luv, what would you like to do? There's food! Or pool! Or dancing!!"
He blinks.
"Or we can make out under some mistletoe!"

But he can't help but roll his eyes.
"Really, Mike, would you get over it?" he says, waving a hand dismissively. "John and I have. You should move on, you know. How's Genosha!?"

And the air around them catches fire.
"I put the wards up, you moron."
Reply
"What kind of example are you setting!" he asked rhetorically, smiling happily.
He added, with a dark look in his eyes, "Beside, I date a vengeance demon who owns a magic store. You really think I didn't come prepare myself?"
His face lapsed into a grin again. "I'm just here to have a holiday drink with my girl! Not to cause any trouble."

And then he stops.
And looks puzzled for a moment.
And promptly bursts out laughing, waving the flames away.
Reply
"What do you think?"
But, hey, at least Mike's crazy fire was gone for the moment. (Not that it would have done anything, mind you!)

He muttered to himself, "That guy is more nuts in the head then me!"

Luckily the decision is made for her the second Aurora comes forward and takes control; moving like silk, her hips twitching flirtatiously she walks towards Toad.
"Toad, darling!" She purrs and gives him a small wave.

Toad adores Aurora. He knows right way it's her speaking to him, because she just has such a different way about her then that sweet little Jeanne-Marie.
"Darling, you look delicious!" Toad exclaims. "If I wasn't here with my serious and very visually stimulating girlfriend, I tell you..." Then he leans forward, leering. "Although, if I ask her nicely, maybe we can all go and play."
He leans back and laughs loudly, as if it was a joke but not really. He asks happily, "What have you been up to, pretty lady?"
Reply
"Oh you know, a bit of this and a bit of that." She says and favours him with a slow smile, "although to be honest I could do with a bit of excitement."
"You?"
