Sexuality Healing
So I read through my entire copy of Aphrodite's Magic. Besides feeling incredibly uber!femme right now, I'm really pumped to do this. I'd love to do the whole workbook before my trip in July, hopefully before my pole dancing class on July 9th
I will be making some modifications, of course, but still.
I just have to decide one thing:
Do I want to do this in a weekend or in a week.
There are advantages and disadvantages to both:
Advantages to a weekend:
- It's quicker
- I can do a fast
- I don't have to worry about maintaining dates
- I can take more time to plan and not worry about not being done by the 9th.
Disadvantages to a weekend
- More intense (this could be seen as an advantage though)
- Have to come up with a good reason why I'm going on a liquid fast for the weekend
- Have to come up with reasons for what I'm doing upstairs alone
Advantages to a week
- More spread out, so more time to focus and meditate
- No fast, which can be a plus, heh
- Less excuses to come up with
Disadvantages to a week
- Might have some scheduling conflicts with dates. Sissy just had a baby and we all have missed each other since she didn't want to risk fronting when she was pregnant (I had had complications with Daniella, so she was being cautious).
- Takes longer, which means I could have less time to prepare
I'm really leaning toward doing a weekend, even if it means more problems with my parents. But, in all honesty, I can say I'm cleaning my room. It's a disaster zone...heh. As Dave said: "Good Lord, I've married a slob."
I'm going to think this through over *this* weekend. I'm still pretty sick. I have this virus that is hanging on for dear life and took a bad turn last night/this morning with a high fever and almost throwing up.
So I'm going to console myself by snuggling up to my longhorned Marine.
And you all thought that was a euphemism! (oh god I look terrible...FOCUS ON THE CUTE BULL!)
Actually, there is a reason I bought this. Primary partner Gabriel is a former Marine, and one of my power animals is a cow/bull (both, technically speaking). So, yeah.
Plus oh god I'm a sucker for cute things and I was PMSy and I was missing him bad, I was like "He would want me to do this and to have this!" So I bought it.
