[Med'an woke up repeating the message left for them by Richard Grey outloud. He's back in Mayfield, in his nice bed, in his nice house. It barely registers. The first thing he does is write down what he remembers

[He certainly pays close attention to the message and jots down a few notes in his book.]
Assuming that this was the last message, how did it survive the switchboard? I am curious how the message was saved through the destruction of Westport. I assume that it was pre-recorded though why only this last message was saved....causes me to want to believe Mr. Grey's message.
[Now it clicks who Richard Grey is since he's heard the name from the Westport transmissions.]
The last survivor leaves one final message but who was the girl and what of those in the bio-suits?
I don't know. I don't even know if it was from a telephone, or...something else... [...] Can telephones do that? Save messages? ...and....turn on while we're asleep...?
[Pause.]
One of those Bibles came back with me. It has drawings of a girl on it. And -
I am...now curious about another matter. Did you see Richard Grey himself or did you hear him over the radio? Perhaps I am not getting a clearer picture on the matter.
[He knows the chalk drawing that was in reference and takes the cue.]
I am uncertain. According to one other, the hazmat suits were there to protect them from the chemicals they were spraying on those that stayed at Westport and the surrounding remains of the town.
I was not present when the road was severed. Though I do suspect that there could be reason to subjugate that it is probable this Richard Grey could have been among them if no body was found.
The only way to tell for certain is through analysis perhaps searching through the database which may lead to another dead end. I have encountered many here. The bones are bleached clean with no traces of flesh to bring any possible date to the deaths. I am sorry. Who ever is behind the massacre at Westport, they have certainly learned to cover their tracks very well.
That is only providing that he is still around to listen though it is worth a try. However, explaining too much could render us in danger and the information sent could be used against us. Be wise with what you would like to say.
If he's droned....[...] He doesn't act like the other drones...except for that one time, when he was really cheerful and friendly. [...] Can you get..."double-droned"?
Perhaps his memories were erased and given a new name under the pretense that he is who he is and his condition is slowly breaking down in the process.
If his memories are hidden, it is best that he knows exactly who he is and bring them out. Unfortunately, I am unequipped to do such a thing other than through interrogation though there are others with such powers that can and it is important that the truth to who he is be brought forth.
I wish I knew enough magic to break down those mental walls...[Like they had with, again, his mother. Curse him for being so young and not edumacated.]

[But that's all the info he has on that. He moves on to the next topic.]
The only people other than us were those men in suits. None of them were Richard Grey....were they?

You think that...they could have been trying to kill Richard Grey? And that's why the suited men were there? [....]
But that would mean...that would mean the message isn't very old. [...] Is there some way we can tell?

...if Richard Grey is still alive, and it's true that the message was sent recently....we should be able to send something back....?

[More thinking time. After a while;]
Someone said that "Evan" might be Officer Grady's real name.

[He gives pause for a moment.]
Interesting.

[It almost reminds him of his mother.]
...I wonder if he would know underneath. There could be...walls in his mind, where his memories are.
