I feel sick and angry
Whatever benefit of the doubt I had about Trump's intentions is completely gone. This "president" is a fucking monster.
I thought that maybe, maybe, he was just a bumbling misogynistic fool who didn't want the office and had the ego to think he could fix the economy or whatever. He conned some of my friends into voting for him on the promise of jobs, more affordable healthcare, and fears about Clinton being more beholden to her wealthy donors than the American people. He courted those friends while Democrats were actively putting them down, and it pains me to wonder how long it will take for them to see it.
I still think Trump is a misogynistic man with an outsized ego, but I now I also think he got himself fraudulently elected specifically to line his pockets further, with no respect for human life or dignity.
