Xfinity or Centurylink
Opinions! I need some. I have Comcast right now. Haven't even had them two months, but this company - cripes. Tried to charge us for an install since the self-install failed. Why did the self-install fail? Because they reconnected the outside cable to our neighbors' house. But hey, we only charged you 50.00 instead of 99.00 for the install. How awesome are we? But we'll drop it to 25.00 just for you. After much chatting in those little chat boxes and doing this twice - it is removed. I love those chat boxes. You can save the transcripts, but I never want to waste that much time again.
Centurylink has now moved fiber-optics into our neighborhood. I've signed on with them and they will be here Wednesday to install. But I'd sure like it if someone who has them as a company to share their experience. I'm crossing my fingers they're better. One thing Comcast didn't do is make us sign a contract. Centurylink wants a year commitment. I have 30 days to dive out of it though.
