If this show wants to return their focus to the more family aspect instead of devoting oodles of attention on the current arc of the season - yes, please. There was something quirky and sweet about last night's ep because of it. All the better for more Winchesters. Because this is why I've watched this series for going on 9 seasons. The brothers, thank you very much in all their dysfunctional glory.
Bringing Kevin in more and beyond the prophet/researcher role - awesome.
Cas as human - more interesting to me than the Angel who heals with a poke of a finger.
Yes, Dean isn't telling Sam everything, but this too is more interesting because of why and he knows it's wrong and secrets haven't served them well in the past, but he's willing to risk it since he isn't willing to risk Sam and granted some of this could be said to be the same ol' same ol' it doesn't feel that way to me.
