Haven 4.02

Duke carried Nathan to the hospital when they were kids. Then he went sledding. But he carried Nathan to the hospital.

I melted. Goo like melted.

Okay, my favoritist of moments is out of the way, but just so you know if these Nathan and Duke moments continue more gooiness is going to ensue. 'You were helping people long before blondie arrived' - okay, I'm sure I didn't get that quite right and will happily watch again to to do so. Favorite moment number two.

And Haven lives up to the you can ship everybody with anybody. Because, I hadn't thought of Dwight - I love him as the chief so dang much - and Jordan. They should get together. Wouldn't that be interesting? I think that would be interesting. She's all wound tight and pissed off and not that she doesn't have reason, but I don't see either of those emotions getting her anywhere -  or helping. Then there's Dwight - thinking beyond what Nathan cost him and doing his job with all this reasonableness in spite of it - he really should be just as angry at Nathan. Of course, Nathan didn't pretend to love him - so maybe not so angry, but a bullet magnet isn't all it's cracked up to be either.

This budding relationship of Duke and Jennifer - I'm not tossing it into the romance category by any means, but it's just - cute. I like it. More than I expected when they toss in another female character - and you're wondering why they're there. This is working for me. Jennifer is interesting in her own right and it's interesting to see the outsider's perceptive of Haven once again.

Vince is creeping me out.

Duke with an older brother who possibly can't deal with Haven weirdness - oodles of room to play there. One of which is younger brother protecting older brother is appealing.

Scruffy Nathan is really working for me.

How is it you have three people who just happen to end up where Audrey landed? I hope this isn't a construct of Audrey/Lexi's own making since I'd like to see where all this would lead if mysterious William and creepy guys are real and Lexi needs to make choices.

I like how emotionally twisty this season is. The characters all have legitimate reasons for feeling what they way they do. I'm definitely wallowing in happy seeing Nathan and Duke's relationship moving to a level we've been teased with for the previous three seasons.

And I love our zippy new internet!
