yesterday after work, i spent my day learning about the stand-up comedian Bill Hicks.
he was a truly innovative person from the early 90's.
people compared his work to such comedians as Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor.
one of the things he is most well-known for was that he was the only comic to have his entire stand-up act removed from the David Letterman show.
and two weeks later he died of pancreatic cancer
i always question why people as creative in their respective fields have to just die so soon.
while Dane Cook is set to release another incredibly likely piece of shit movie this year.
i have so much spite for that man, it can't be explained.
