I think I'm going to stop coming over here...
So I have a new roommate, and after some finagling, I've managed to renew the lease on the current apartment at the current price. So that's taken care of...
And yet, even though I have a place to live, I feel like I've lost a place to hang out.
Carli has a new roomate/housekeeper named Debbie. Nice woman, a little high strung, much like yours truly in personality. But the thing is it wasn't just her who moved in here, she brought her son, her daughrter, and her boyfriend. And none of these people seem to be able to go fifteen minutes without a shouting match of some sort, either hostile or humorous, happening.
By the same token Son and Daughter have taken over the rooms set aside for Caitlyn and Chris. Um, shouldn't it be the other way around as far as the rooms go?
Additionally, all these people are night owls, which means that they're beginning massiv ehome improvement projects at hours that most people are wrapping them up. As I type this, Boyfriend is currently painting the back wall of the living room, and it sounds like they plan on painting everythign in this room, so odds are the computer is going to need to be shut down soon.
Stuff liek this is going on all the time now, and it goes on well into the night, like near dawn is when most of these people decide to go to bed.
It used to be I could come over here after work and chill out. Tonight, however, seems to be a h igh stress evening as Caitlyn and Chris are coming over and Chris drives these people nuts. Shouting and sceaming is definitely in the future.
Additionally, since Son and Daughter are laying claim to the bedrooms, at least one of the kids will be sleeping in the living room, there's no room at the inn for me, which means sticking around for Adult Swim tonight is probably out.
*Sigh*
I dunno. Now that there's a house full of people, Carli just doesn't seem to want or need to hang out with me anymore. Oh well...
Life goes on. And so there's another goodbye. As usual.
