there's this hippie kid that moved into our building recently. he smokes weed in the front lobby. he likes to sit on the grass that all of the dogs shit in and hang out with his buddies. tonight he seems to be attempting to have a love-in out there as the cars drive by on winthrop. he couldn't be older than 20 i'd say. he doesn't seem to have a job as one night we were trying to go to sleep to go to work the next day and him and his buddies were out there sitting on the grass.
it's kind of funny- i sat and watched for a bit and people are coming in from being out at this point and people are walking right by them (this grass is very thin and it's between the street and the sidewalk) kind of quickly. hilarious! some dude walked by a while ago and i couldn't hear what they were talking about but i heard 'i'll kick yer fuckin' ass!'
i'm burning 'nebraska' to cd right now.
trying to find good youtube videos. or really anything. i should probably get my ass to bed. it would probably be beneficial to not stay up so late even on the weekends.
