Heart of Darkness
doing a bit of pimping again. Recently, I gave my mom another set of books to read (she ran out of highlanders to devour). She's reading the Lords of the Underworld series by Gena Showalter. She's on book 3 already and she's only been reading them for a little more than a week. For those of you that haven't read the series you really must. It starts with Darkest Night (Maddox & Ashlynn). the most recent addition to the set is an anthology called Heart of Darkness. Which has more harpy goodness in it! The story of Lysander & Bianka (sister to Gwen from the Darkest Whisper). This whole set is very addicting, you get drawn into the world of the Lords and really learn to hate Galen & Cronos. The next two to come out will be in June & July (Aeron & Gideon's stories). Well, that's not entirely true, in May there is going to be an anthology of just Gena's stories coming out that will contain the two e-books of the lords and one other story as well. The fun part about Heart of Darkenss is that it isn't the story of one of the Lords and therefore you don't need to know the whole backstory to read it (helpful, but not required). I can guarantee if you like Heart of Darkness you'll come back to the Lords for more. And being that most of you that I know enjoy the paranormal - this twist on the story of Pandora's Box will enthrall you! =D
