Taking a momentary break from completing my case study. Damn, if this thing ain't kicking my ass. But, I'm on page 10 now, on the last section and then I can hand it off to mom to edit for me. Do some final touches on it and then post it up before 10 tonight.
So...yesterday...mom and Dayna went yard sale-ing all day...well, most of the day anyway. And they came across this large flea market type thing that is apparently part of the 400 mile sale. I hadn't heard of it, but they did, and they found it. Mom got some pretty neat stuff too. Very nice, large cauldron. A pitcher and bowl set (she'd been looking for one), and a bunch of stuff for her little granddaughter and the yet to be born grandson. but...she told me at like 445 yesterday that she had come across a knife that was a dragon, and the blade was curved like his tail. Well..she didn't get it. She told me she wasn't sure that i would like it. um, hello...I LOVE most anything to do with dragons. So, she took me out there, hoping they would still be open and there. They were. And dear lord...it's a place I got into trouble at. I got the little dragon blade, plus two dragon sword holders. And why would I need sword holders. um...cause I bought two swords *ducks*! One's black and a practice sword, it has a dragon carved into it. Beautiful piece Katana! The other is an acutal Katana. White and Gold. Oh, I will have to take pictures because I cannot adequately describe it. Actual price of all pieces...$120...what did I pay...$70! he made me a deal. He'd had that bit of stock for almost five years now and was just happy that somebody wanted it. So, yes, it's a cheap sword, it's not a high end piece. But it's still beautiful, and I love it. It's not like I'm planning on going to sword fight any time soon. Hell, I don't even know how.
That's my news for now. Back to my case study!
