I don't know what this elusive "It factor" is. All I know is that I've seen people who had it and it is one of those things where everyone turns to look at that person. The person may be dressed like everyone else, but you just know, instinctively, that they're a star. It's a bit scary, actually LOL.
And on Mr. Laurie. He was at some sort of benefit party. Everyone there (sans him and other guests of honor) was dressed in crazy punk/Rocky Horroresque costumes. I don't know how tall he is, but he had a group of four or five people standing around him and he fairly towered over them. He was laughing and had a drink in his hand. I thought about cribbing a cell phone shot but two things were working against me: 1) He was a little bit too far away for a good shot and 2) Like every other day in my life that I need my cell phone, I forgot to charge it previously and it was out of juice.
I do understand the appeal, though. He looked mighty fine from where I was standing!
