I ran 10k in 01:04:39!!!!
And in case it's true that it really does take a month for a sprain to heal, here's why I'm limping, and no it does not hurt:
Thanksgiving:
- ran 10 k (a little over 6 mi)
- mile 3 got blisters
- mile 6 blisters angry
Day After Thanksgiving:
- went hiking with family, which involved climbing and more or less shimmy-ing up/down poles because there really is no other way up/down rocks. Made it to top, made it to bottom. descent is where legs start doing shaky thing.
- at the beginning of the trail where there's steps legs give out.
- left foot bends out and ankle pops
- nearby child looks horrified.
- Dr. Uncle looks at it and says no broken bones
So the only reason I limp is to avoid putting pressure on the ankle, not because it hurts. It only some what hurts if I walk around on it normally, bend it certain ways, or try to go up/down stairs.
