I was thinking after finding this link for a paper flower bracelet, how much fun would it be to make paper flower corsages or hairclippies with E to wear when we go out for tea?
We watched Footloose this weekend, and for some reason, the scene where the mom gives Ariel the corsage always bugs me. My parents didn't give me my corsages for proms and homecomings, my dates did. But there is a growing trend I guess in making them yourself. If you're making your own anyway, it sounds like fun to wear them for more then just teenage rites of passage. Why not make a lovely corsage for holidays? If you don't want to use ribbons, you could get the bigger elastic hair ties and ribbons to create a base for them.
