Potholders and checkers
A potholder design I'm working on. I'm not happy with this one. It's a bit wavey. I'm sure I can block it by flattening in a book or something, but I want it to auto-block.
Mike thought I should attach a piece of yarn to it, post it the wall and take a picture like I was shooting it like Spiderman. I told him everyone already knew I was a crafty geek without a crafty geek picture.
Ideas for making checkers-

Bottle caps filled with resin and glitter or pictures
polymer clay
buttons
shrink plastic
candy
paper
hardware, washers et cetra
Fruit Loops
bread dough clay (white bread mixed with glue)
Beads
Still working on other ideas, willing to take suggestions. Marble magnets would work too. We could make a board in pretty papers on a cookie sheet, then use the marble magnets for a magnetised game.
