Clinicals
So, due to waking up late I made it to clinicals @ 711 instead of 700. Strangely, I was unapologetic. My teacher told me that for my temerity I would be forced to work through lunch, which wasn't really that big a deal. I enjoyed working today and they really liked having me...Especially because I found things to do, volunteered for stuff instead of just following someone along and asking questions.
It was great. I did get one extra break to entertain my smoking habit, but really it wasn't a big deal. I just went on the second break because someone told me to. I got this fat plate full of mashed potatoes and roast beef with nice rolls because I was working through lunch, and in the day room. I was a big help to the dietary lady so she made sure to hook me down. Shit smells so good.
All in all it was a great day. I'm pretty sure I've got this, I even helped a few folks with some of the grosser stuff, and it really wasn't all that bad. I'm very interested to see how the hell things differ 3rd shift, though...
