Art (except when it's not mine), Layton & Allan (c) me
(Please forgive this awful english of mine…again. D:)

Let's start with another african mask, because, you know, I like african masks. It was a quite pretty one in reality, it wasn't blue at all and was really decently symmetric.

The order was to paint directly with watercolours (I mean without sketching before). Since I didn't have any decent paper to watercolour on, I've been given a very very thick paper...and I've never had so much fun watercolouring. I mean I could do soooo much things and it suddently became soo easy realising the effects I wanted to. ;u;
And that weird blue-ish splash under the teapot was meant to be a piece of space with (future) stars and...it will probably remain a blue splash.

Here, have some african things again. This one was a statue with really really huge boobs (even bigger that those I drew, I swear).

Idk, still-life drawing? The point was to work on shadows (heh, you didn't guess that did you?) and, for god's sake, there is actually quite a lot of light in shadow.

Charcoal, gosh, I hadn't drawn with charcoal for years. It was rather fun and really dirty (it actually dirties everything).

We were supposed to draw some faces from photos. So I chose what I thought to be the one of a boy dressed up as some kind of indian. It took me a loooong time before realising it was girl actually. And I definitely screwed up something on her face. :/

Super late birthday present for Sita (♥).
I wanted to draw something related to her blog but it ended up being more a hogwarts-ish portrait of herself. (Create (with your brilliant imagination) some splashes of blue and grey on the scarf if you please). I truly had fun drawing this one.

This one is a scanned, printed and then watercoloured version of the first one, that’s why the sketch looks blurred. It allowed me to watercolour on a rather thick paper for once, and it was genuinely nice.

My dear Layton and Allan, younger obviously, it's been a while since I've wanted to draw them as kids and I must admit I've incredibly enjoyed myself doing so. I want to make clear that Layton's mouth is weirdly open because I wanted to draw his teeth (anditdidn'twork). Layton was supposed to be grabbing Allan's sleeve but I forgot to draw him without rolled-up sleeves (terrible habit), so hm...he's grabbing air.
Allan is supposed to be drawing doodling on Layton's face to make him look like an indian or something. But they look way much older that I wanted them to, and since I first planned them to play Indians that's a bit unsettling. :/ (I wanted them to be about 6 and 11 so it obviously hasn't worked.)
I'm still working on it, because there is still quite a lot of things to fix and some I want to add...like this stuffed dino's super weird perspective, some anatomical thingies, highlight Layton's right leg's position, there is also something a bit strange with his eyes but I think I can't fix that now.
It's also supposed to be a collaboration with Cajoline (who proposed me to do so ages ago, I'm endlessly sorry).
(I'm endlessly slow).

Details, I love details, I love them above all. I love them so much it's almost indecent and it's surely ridiculous, but I love them too much. I don't think Layton actually gets what's going on, looks like he's been interrupted reading or something (I mean if you can see that there is a book resting on his knees).

Younger (baby) Layton again AND watercoloured AND with 2 eyes (Sita, what kind of miracle is that?). :D I haven't finished it yet, I'd like to add some blue on his brown woollen sweater and to strengthen the tones on his face.

Here, have some details again, because I enjoy this indecent zoom way to much. And if you don't then you will learn to enjoy it ANYWAY (I'm joking, just ignore it).

The thing was so cut off an object from a photo, stick it and draw anything you want around it while trying to organize it into some kind of composition. Of course I haven't finished it in time (how surprising).
So this weird blue-black-ish thing at the top is supposed to be another attempt to draw a night sky (with coming stars) surrounded by black firs. Younger Layton on the right again, could be considered as a preliminary version to the watercoloured piece above. And a pear, because I do love pears.

Layton and Allan again. I wanted to try something new and it didn't work (Layton your right eye is quite weird dear). :/ It was another attempt to draw them younger (anditdidn'twork) but I somehow like Allan quite a lot on this one.

A wild baby Layton appeared in the midst of maths exercises. (The curve in the top-right hand corner was named "beetle" although it could be anything but a beetle.)

Frieden and Spanzer (Cajoline's OCs) because I really have a crush on them and on Pride an Prejudice and on Kate Beaton's comics.

Another princess-ish girl.

Spanzer and Frieden again, because I do have a crush on them.

Birthday present from Kya who is just the nicest person on earth and I endlessly love it. ;u;

I'm just such a spoilt brat, I could write a declamation about how much I love it.
(I think I did actually.)

Truly lovely adorable birthday present from Cajoline. Just so perfect. ;_;

Amazing free sketch from Pharan is amazing. ;u;

Genuinely great birthday present from my friend Marie. They're just so adorable in her style.

Hm... l'll try to add something but you know... I'm not quite talented at it.
As planned, I've been really busy with school and it will be like this for at least one year and a half (well I hope so) and I think I've never been that tired. Plus I really have trouble recovering properly with all the work. :/ I've been thinking about creating an artumblr so as to post some art more easily. Anyway, I've been to Disneyland Resort Paris with Sita in october and it was amazing and now I'm completely obsessed with coming back to it. ;u;

Anyway, thanks for watching people & take care.
