This is fantastic! You've got a great reading voice, and a wonderful feel for the text.

Have you done others?

Oh, thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

I haven't done any other Shakespeare fic, but you can find other podfic I've done here!

Heh, I would do so happily! Do you have recs of particularly good fics to do? I haven't hung out much in Shakespeare fandom despite finding Shakespeare fascinating!

Oooh, there's a lot of it out there, actually, and some really great stuff too.

thisengland is focused solely on history plays; ides_of_april on the Greek and Roman plays, and the_phrensies is for AU Shakespeare (any genre). Most of the comedy fic I've seen has been for yuletide, although a_t_rain, angevin2, and gileonnen have all written some excellent comedy-based fic.

OMG SHAKESPEARE AU FIC! I am in love. *cough* Aside from my mad love of AUs, thanks for all the useful resources! I shall have to check them all out.

Histories fandom went sort of collectively AU-crazy a couple of years ago. IT IS AWESOME.

EVERY FANDOM EVER SHOULD GO AU-CRAZY. I WOULD DIE OF GLEE.

By which I mean, it is so very obvious that one of my first major fandoms was the notoriously AU-obsessed SGA fandom.... *grin*

HEE. I am PRETTY SURE I have actually uttered the phrase "Well, at least we haven't done one where they're ice cubes yet." ;)

*laughs* I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. (I...actually seem to recall reading an ice-cubes SGA fic. SGA has done every AU imaginable.)

Indeed they have!

The weirdest thing I have ever done is write middle-school AU fic about Elizabethan poets:

Will has lunch with Ben Jonson so that he can check his Latin homework against Ben's, because Ben is better at Latin than pretty much everybody even if he is just a sixth grader, and he actually gets how the fourth declension works. Will likes Ben even if he's always crabby, and Ben seems to like him because he doesn't make fun of him for being overweight, and also Will's bad Latin makes Ben feel particularly smart (even though he is anyway ( ... )

*dies laughing* I only know a VERY FEW of the people you reference, not being up on my Elizabethan poets, but it is hilarious ANYWAYS.

I have, alas, not done much in the way of crazy AUs. More crazy crossovers, really. Which are their own kind of fun!

Ooh, yay! It's mostly histories AUs, but there are a few others if you look under the tags. Also, there are a number of Greek/Roman AU fics at ides_of_april.

There's a huge list of histories fic over at thisengland -- it is here.

I haven't done fic recs properly in ages, but there are some links to Shakespeare fics I especially like here. :)
