It's official ...
I am offically a Heidelberg University "Fighting Prince" in the Fall of 2009. Though it's in the middle of a wheat field more or less in Tiffin, Ohio it's only 3 hours from home and I'm sure I"ll find stuff to do eventually. It feels good that I've finally made a decesion that I'm happy with. I ended up going to Elmhurst. Din't get me wrong I LOVE the location of the school, I LOVE the school and I adore the town... BUT... I HATED THE PROFESSORS! They all seemed really arrogant. As if they were so much better than everyone else and the guy I met with everytime my mom, dad or I had some sot of imput in the conversation he'd cut us off. What a dick!
So anyways back to Heidelberg University, I'm considering living in France Hall because its HAUNTED! No kidding, its on an Ohio's Haunted Places list. I think that'd be so awesome! PLUS, it's close to the dining hall and we all know how much I LOVE FOOD! I'm going to Heidelberg in the fall to study Spanish Education with a Minor in English as a Second Language. Obviously I'll be living on campus but I'll only be 3 hours away form home so I can come visit everyone probably every other weekend if I wanted. I'll also have a car which will be nice becuase of the fact that you're thrown into a classroom setting the first year you're there if you're an education major. Which I think is pretty logical due to the fact that your first year you could go into a classroom and say "SHIT I HATE THIS." and change your major instead of waiting until your 3rd year and not really having the ability to change your major at that point.
I get to see Sarah today which is going to be the higlight of my week. Considering mine's sucked pretty much. Especially Wednesday and Thursday... and my $95.00 speeding ticket from one of those fucking camera things in east cleveland was just the "icing on my shitty week cake"! But I'm slightly better about it, still bitter but there's nothing I can do about it so no need to dwell over the fact that I lost $95 over the fact I was going 7 miles over the posted speed limit. lol!
