"Anything for John" (1995)
I just got back from the John Mayer concert here at Brandeis and it was AMAZING. It was the best concert I've been to yet, and I've been to some damn good ones. Not only is he an incredible guitarist (he rocked out on his TOP STRINGS and improvised kick ass riffs all over the place), but hes a great performer, too. Hes even more fabulous and engaging live and is hilarious! He doesnt do the "too much song explaining" thing, and had the BEST answer to the "i want your babies" scream. He is quite the wit. I liked his stuff before, but after seeing his lights blazing, dancing all over the place, singing his heart out, fucking hilarious show, I'm a huge fan! I should become a groupie....
Really made me want to learn to play the guitar, i tried a couple times but never made it past a few chords. I think thats the next project.
Anyway, if any of you has the chance to see John Mayer in concert GO FOR IT! Its really an incredible experience. Now to do my work...
