Whew. My life is busy! I am happy!
Tomorrow: I am meeting with Nigel, which will surely be awkward because I'm definitely taking his class next semester. God, I hope he doesn't quiz me on globalization and I rave about the benefits of No Sweat footwear. I also have to babysit from 6-9. I really like hanging out with Caroline but sometimes I really wish she had an older sibling that I could talk to. I try to encourage babbling but that's not exactly enriching for me. I guess I'll have to learn to find some amusement in watching her eat peas one pea at a time.
Thursday: lab day at Harvard. I have no idea what to expect. When Ben did this last year, he didn't seem to thrilled about it. Later on, I'm skipping psychology in order to try my hardest to get a ticket to Hanson's documentary screening. I've already begun to accept the idea that with all the nerdy girls and gay boys here, the chance of actually getting a ticket is slim. I won't be totally crushed (err, well maybe I will) because Eric's band is playing in Cambridge Thursday night.
Friday: yoga, more babysitting and then X Dance!
Saturday: must.do.laundry! Maybe I'll take it home so I can do it for free. Hopefully, Ben and I can complete our Road Trip Nation grant application. We want to get some money to travel around the country this summer, interview some people we think are cool (founders of community spaces, kids with punk houses, Chris of PIX, Christy Road, Calvin Johnson, maybe even Ian Mackaye) and the loud band can play some sweet shows.
My week will conclude with a fabulous celebration of one of my favorite people - Grammie Dowd! During that time, I also need to observe and record Evelyn's speech for my phonetics class. I want to see if she raises, lowers, advances or retracts any vowel sounds.
Woo! Life is great!
p.s. My Diva Cup and I are so in love.
