I was thinking today about time. about growing up. And then I started thinking about the '90s. i definitly remember the 90s. i remember a lot of the 90s. I remember '93 which is sort of weird anyway. And then I was thinking... there are kids who were born in the 90s, who wre teenagers now. TEENAGERS. What? I mean, who was born in the '90s

I don't think the 2060s will necessarily be anything like the 1960s. Were the 1960s like the 1860s? Haha, Victorian-era "hippies." Nah... I think it's hard to predict which decades will be awesome, which ones won't. Well... I think that MANY years to come will be bit crazier and such, what with the Ozone failing (and the majority of the damage undone, since CFCs from the '70s still haven't had their chance to eat away yet; then the 80s, 90s, and today to go), dwindling resources and increasing population. I think when we're middle aged, we'll all be adjusting to a host of new issues and trying to be sustainable and such. Just my guess. (I don't think we'll simply get the choice of the same luxeries as our parents and older generations; just won't work).
Sorry.... I'm extremely bored and ranting on. Maybe I'll stop now.

I suppose that's the problem with text-based programs such as LJ and MSN... they fail to show any sort of emotion or intention in the communication. So for the record, I was being fesicious. And I was not refering to the comment about Christianity in different cultures, but rather to beKKY's original post
"we'll all speak chinese" I am sure you are very much aware of the 'fear' the North American masses seem to have of Arab people due to the recent global terrorist alert.. and the prediction of corporate take-over by the Chinese. So I was playing off of those sentiments. Sorry about the misunderstanding, but I do agree with you.

Oh, sorry man, I wasn't "splitting any hairs" or anything. But yeah, sorry for mis-intrepreting your comment; and sorry for having said so much in seriousness-- I was in a shmucky mood. Typing things online can truly have some limitations... such as not being able to properly see and absorb scarcasm. It is indeed kind of odd how much on edge so many people are in our society, whether of "cultural invasion" (funny, when you think of it, that WE're scared of the idea of domination) or terrorism, etc.
