Home from Kelowna.
Left the cat for two days.
Oh, surprise! The cat went out and hurt herself Saturday morning, before we left, and didn't eat or drink all weekend for a sore mouth. She has an abscess on her little mouth, all puffy. We took her in to the vet, she's spending the night.
I was worried about leaving her for two whole days, but what could we do? Stay an extra night just to make sure we feed and pill the cat Sunday morning early before leaving? Nobody else was around to care for her this weekend, and she should have been all right like always. Nobody could have guessed that this would happen.
Poor kitty.
Kelowna was fun, we did rock stuff and Nora stuff. Met Nora's grandson, 6 month old Lewis, who was cute and cried a bit. Boy, little ones cry a lot.
Hotel was lovely. I really enjoyed a weekend away with my sweetie.
