The Boy Jonno

On Thursday I finally handed two copies of my novel to my agent and they're being sent out to publishers next week. This novel has been redrafted and edited multiple times at this point, but I still had to fight the urge to grab the manuscripts back and tell the agent I needed to do some more work on it.

Thanks - I'm feeling a bit meh at the moment. All this time working on the novel and D Day has finally arrived. The agent claims there are only 4 publishers that are possibilities, and if none of them take it, realistically it's not going to be published, - a horrible thought, considering how much time and effort has gone into the novel.

Anyway the last couple of weeks have been all about finishing the final draft - now that it's gone I can kick back, relax and catch up on all the SPN fic I've been missing.

And I hope things are good with you, with all the upheaval of leaving your job, moving cities etc. Change is a good thing in lots of ways but it's also so damn stressful - even if the change is something you want. It'll be a year ago next week that I left my job, and I'm still a bit wobbly about it.

Thanks! I'm very glad I have my college course coming up though - I definitely need something to keep me distracted so I don't spend my time fretting as to whether the novel is picked up or not.
