Sigh and Breathe
So I went to Denton lastnight with Allison to see Rainer Maria. They are so amazing! There was a band that started the show off who's name I didn't catch, and then we totally missed The Happy Bullets play because we got hungry and it took us forever to find food and then we got lost. We basically left the show to drive around for an hour. But, it was still fun. Then we made the hour long drive to Plano to crash at Allison's house. We didn't get there until 2:30 and then sat up and talked for a while. Sleeping in the guest room was alright until about halfway through the night when the ac in the upstairs of her house broke once again and it got HOT. I was laying on top of the covers all spread out because touching ANYTHING made me sticky. Yuck! It did get cooler because someone turned all the fans on finally. We slept through church and then got up to meet her parents for lunch and then took her brother to Paciugo to get Italian ice cream. IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOOD!!! After that we went home to pack and play with her puppy, Blitzen. Then we finally hit the road to come back AFTER making a trip out of the way to go to Krispy Kream to get doughnuts.
Now I'm back and I do need to work on my research paper but I am waiting until we go to Joe Allen's and get dinner before I begin working on it once more.
So, that was the majority of my weekend - I was so glad we got to go because until she comes to visit me in the summer that 's the last really fun thing I get to do with Allison.
Anyway, off to roam the internet until dinner time.
Now I'm back and I do need to work on my research paper but I am waiting until we go to Joe Allen's and get dinner before I begin working on it once more.
