I am looking for book suggestions!
To help you out:
Some of my favorite books are:
Water for Elephants
The Lovely Bones
The Secret Life of Bees
Memoirs of a Geisha
The Time Traveler's Wife
Life of Pi
A Walk in the Woods
The Da Vinci Code
The Harry Potter Series
In short, I tend to like more modern writing. Something where the characters draw me in. If it is something based on history or science, where I actually learn something, I like that too.
I was thinking I should read some Kerouac, but don't know where I should start.
BTW,
justducky2204 I just finished reading your suggestion, "Map of Bones". I liked it a lot (definitely drew me in), but the ending was a HUGE let down. It seems like it was written to have a sequel, which is fine in the movies, but I dislike it in books (unless I know the book is part of a series in the first place).
