Hooray for Maine!
Sometimes a wrong turn can lead to great things

I literally made a wrong turn and ended up stopping here for dinner tonight. They use local ingredients for most of their dishes. This is what I had:
Glass of excellent French Wine
Fresh bread served with olive oil and Maine sea salt
3 Taunton Bay and 3 Spinney Creek oysters (quite possibly the best oysters I've ever had - very FRESH!)
Organic Beet, Walnuts & Gorgonzola Salad
Maine shrimp baked with garlic, butter and hot pepper spices
Apple Tartin with homemmade Hard-Cider ice cream!
Yum yum!
This trip to Maine went VERY well...the site did well, the people were awesome, I made friends with a 68 year old, short, Patrick Stewart look-alike, two really good meals were had, two sites were visited, some great antiques were found, I got a little sight seeing in and went to St Andrews, New Brunswick, I got a great haircut for cheap, and I should be home before noon tomorrow.
But most important...1 WEEK TO TANZANIA!!!!
