Which may be why they are the ones who end up without respect and credibility when conflicts arise.

Better to mind our own actions, then. And if we bend the rules on a day that we are particularly unwilling to tolerate childish foolishness, [ a knowing grin, here ] then perhaps years of behaving will keep us from being entirely condemned.
